The TicWatch Pro 5 series (including TicWatch Pro 5 and TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro) will begin receiving the Wear OS 4 update starting in early September with the following changelog.
A. Wear OS 4
All TicWatch Pro 5 devices (including TicWatch Pro 5 and TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro) currently running Wear OS 3.5 will begin receiving the Wear OS 4 update starting in early September. The update will be rolled out in phases over the coming weeks, varying by region and device. You will receive a notification directly on your watch when the update is available for installation.
New Features in Wear OS 4
- Backup and Restore: Helps you securely backup your data and settings from your old watch while keeping all of your data, settings and watch faces in place.
- Phone Transfer: Transfer your watch to a new smartphone without needing a factory reset.

How to download Wear OS 4 for Mobvoi TicWatch?
To download the latest Wear OS 4 stable update on your TicWatch, there is a simple way to forcefully download the OTA update using the following trick. If it still does not work, wait a few days.
Force Update your Mobvoi TicWatch using this trick
- Turn off Bluetooth.
- Activate Wi-Fi.
- Place it on the dock. Power on.
- Go to settings > system update > check for update.
- If you get nothing but “your watch is upto date”.
- Try tapping on the little watch with the “check” symbol on it.
- Tap over 8+ times and you should get an update
- Note: Some users reported tapping 20 times before they got the update.
Note: Tapping persistently on the “up to date” screen should prompt you to download the update.
It’s crucial to note that going back and tapping again on the software update screen and repeating the process is recommended. Alternatively, one could attempt restarting the watch.
